                              RESOLUTION NO. 21758
                
                
                 A RESOLUTION NAMING THE NEW SOFTBALL STADIUM IN
                 WARNER PARK JIM FROST STADIUM "STADIUM OF A
                 THOUSAND DREAMS".
                
                
                                                    
                
                
       	    	 WHEREAS, the stadium is nearing completion, with the
       inaugural game scheduled for April 20, 1998; and
       	    	 WHEREAS, Jim Frost has provided his community with the
       leadership, vision and dedication in accomplishing the completion 

       of this $2.2 million stadium; and
       	    	 WHEREAS, Mr. Frost has donated his own resources and
       time to the completion of this stadium as the first phase in the
       Warner Park redevelopment; and
       	    	 WHEREAS, the stadium will provide a professional quality
       facility for our city's young athletes to enjoy; and
       	    	 WHEREAS, Mr. Frost's commitment to the youth of our
       community and their dreams and aspirations for success was a 
vital
       part of this project;
       	    	 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
       THE CITY OF CHATTANOOGA, TENNESSEE, That the official name of 
this
       new softball stadium in Warner Park is hereby declared to be:
                               JIM FROST STADIUM
                         "STADIUM OF A THOUSAND DREAMS"
